Webb needed just 80 pitches to make it through six innings Saturday, giving up one run on four hits and zero walks while punching out seven batters. However, he began to feel tightness around his shoulder after getting struck by a comebacker in the fifth inning, so the Giants took him out of the game as a precaution. He's tentatively scheduled to make his next start in Boston next week, but the team will likely monitor his injury over the next few days before confirming his availability.
Bericoto isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Colorado, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Bericoto will receive a day off after going 2-for-12 with an RBI and five strikeouts since his return from the injured list Tuesday. Turner Hill will pick up a start in left field and bat seventh.

After going 0-for-8 in his previous three games, Devers hit an RBI double in the ninth inning, driving in San Francisco's final run. Eldridge's last multi-hit effort was Aug. 1 versus the Padres, but he continues to see steady playing time between first base and designated hitter. On the year, he's batting .246 with a .777 OPS, 13 homers, 30 RBI, 39 runs scored, 15 doubles and one stolen base over 79 contests.

Giants' Landen Roupp: Handed 12th loss

Roupp (7-12) allowed four runs on five hits, three walks and a hit batsman while striking out five over 5.2 innings to take the loss Friday versus the Rockies.
Roupp threw just 57 of 91 pitches for strikes in this outing, which was his fourth straight loss. He's been competitive in just one of those games while allowing a total of 14 runs over his last 19.1 innings with a 15:15 K:BB in that span. Overall, Roupp is at a 4.31 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 128:60 K:BB through 129.1 innings over 24 starts. While his performance is fading, the Giants lack better options to fill in as part of the rotation, so expect Roupp to make his next projected start at Cleveland.
Adames (back) is not in the Giants' starting lineup against the Rockies on Friday.
As expected, Adames will be on the bench for Friday's game while working through a back injury that he aggravated during Wednesday's loss to the Astros. An MRI on Friday revealed a low back strain, but a stint on the injured is unlikely for the 30-year-old shortstop, who is considered day-to-day, per Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News.
