Stars' Roope Hintz: Puts up power-play helper
Hintz logged a power-play assist and two hits in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Oilers in Game 1.
Hintz snapped a three-game skid with the helper to set up Matt Duchene's go-ahead goal in the third period. The 28-year-old Hintz has accumulated 11 points (five on the power play), 33 shots on net, 12 hits, 14 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating across 14 playoff outings. He remains in a top-line role, and his budding chemistry with Mikko Rantanen will likely be a primary source of offense for the Stars during the Western Conference Finals.

Stars' Roope Hintz: Two points in Game 3 victory
Hintz notched a power-play goal, an assist, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 5-2 win over Winnipeg in Game 3.
This was Hintz's third multi-point effort of the playoffs. The Finnish center opened the scoring with the man advantage just 2:27 into the first period, and he set up linemate Mikko Rantanen's ninth goal of the postseason in the final stanza. Hintz, who has five goals and 10 points (four on the power play) over 10 contests, trails only Rantanen for the team lead in playoff scoring. The Stars can take a commanding 3-1 series lead if they secure another victory on home ice in Game 4 on Tuesday.

Hintz recorded a power-play assist, three shots on goal and two PIM in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Jets in Game 1.
Hintz has seven points over his last four games. The 28-year-old had the secondary assist on Mikko Rantanen's third goal of the second period in Wednesday's win. Stars' Roope Hintz: Two of each in Game 6 loss
Hintz scored twice on five shots, added two assists and blocked two shots in Thursday's 7-4 loss to the Avalanche in Game 6.
Hintz has three goals and three assists over the last two games, though his second-period heroics Thursday weren't enough. Overall, the center is at seven points, 23 shots on net, seven hits, eight blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over six playoff outings. Hintz's chemistry with fellow Finns Mikko Rantanen and Mikael Granlund is growing, and that's good news if they can piece together a strong encore in Saturday's Game 7.

Stars' Roope Hintz: Two-point effort Monday
Hintz scored a goal and added an assist Monday in the Stars' 6-2 win over the Avalanche in Game 5 of their first-round series.
After feeding Mikko Rantanen for what proved to be the game-winner on a 2-on-1 break early in the second period, Hintz flipped home an empty-netter late in the third. Hintz came into Monday's contest with just one point, a Game 1 power-play goal, through Dallas' first four playoff contests, but it wasn't for a lack of trying -- he's fired 18 shots on net in the series. The 28-year-old center will look to stay productive in Game 6 on Thursday as the Stars try to advance to the second round.

Stars' Roope Hintz: Nets lone goal on power play
Hintz scored a power-play goal on three shots and added four PIM in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Avalanche in Game 1.
Hintz got the Stars on the board in the third period, but his double-minor penalty for high-sticking in the second led to the Avalanche's game-winning goal. Hintz ended his seven-game goal drought with the tally -- he had two assists, 13 shots on net and a minus-3 rating in that span. The bigger concern for the 28-year-old is the absence of linemate Jason Robertson (knee), who is week-to-week after suffering an injury in the regular-season finale. Hintz had 28 goals, 67 points, 160 shots on net and a plus-18 in 76 regular-season contests, but he had a slow start to the campaign when Robertson was still getting up to speed after missing the preseason.

Stars' Roope Hintz: Manages power-play helper
Hintz recorded a power-play assist in Saturday's 5-3 loss to Utah.
Hintz has been under the 17-minute mark for ice time in three of the last four games, so it appears the Stars are trying to build in a little rest for him. The 28-year-old center snapped a four-game point drought when he set up a Wyatt Johnston tally early in the first period. Hintz is now at 66 points in 74 appearances, surpassing his 65-point effort from 80 games a year ago. In 2024-25, Hintz has added 20 power-play points, 152 shots on net, 52 hits, 45 blocked shots and a plus-20 rating.

Stars' Roope Hintz: Finds twine Thursday
Hintz scored a goal on four shots and went plus-2 in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Predators.
Hintz has scored in three of the last four games and has 10 points across his last six outings. The 28-year-old has played a large role in the Stars' seven-game winning streak as he continues to center the top line. For the season, Hintz is up to 28 goals, 65 points, 147 shots on net, 48 hits, 42 blocked shots and a plus-21 rating over 69 appearances. The Stars still have a shot at the top seed in the Central Division, so it's unclear if they'll rest Hintz in any of their last seven contests, though he should still have time to challenge for the 30-goal and 70-point marks.

Stars' Roope Hintz: Keeps surging on offense
Hintz scored a power-play goal on two shots and added an assist in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Kraken.
Hintz put the Stars ahead with his tally late in the first period, and he set up Mikko Rantanen's empty-netter in the third. This was a fourth straight multi-point effort for Hintz, who has two goals and seven assists in that span. The 28-year-old forward is up to 27 goals, 64 points (19 on the power play), 141 shots on net, 46 hits, 42 blocked shots and a plus-19 rating over 67 appearances. He'll have to put in a little work for a fourth straight 30-goal campaign, but few players in the NHL have played better than Hintz in March -- he's at 21 points over his last 12 outings.

Stars' Roope Hintz: Extends impressive stretch
Hintz recorded a goal and an assist in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Flames.
Hintz posted his third consecutive multi-point performance, a span in which he's recorded one goal and six assists, and the 28-year-old continues to thrive as one of Dallas' primary playmaking options. Hintz has 62 points (26 goals, 36 assists) in 2024-25 and is aiming to finish the regular season on a strong note, though he might fall short of reaching the 70-point mark for the second straight year, unless he goes on a tear down the stretch.

Stars' Roope Hintz: Distributes three more assists
Hintz logged three assists, including one on the power play, and added two hits and two PIM in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Oilers.
Hintz has eight assists over six contests since returning from a facial injury. The 28-year-old center had a hand in all three of Jason Robertson's second-period tallies as the talented winger put together a natural hat trick. Hintz has multiple points in seven of his last 11 games, earning two goals and 19 assists in that span. The center isn't a pure playmaker despite his recent work -- he's at 60 points (25 goals, 35 assists) with 137 shots on net and a plus-16 rating over 65 appearances.

Stars' Roope Hintz: Dishes pair of helpers Monday
Hintz logged two assists, two hits and two PIM in Monday's 3-0 win over the Wild.
Hintz's goal scoring has faded a bit, but this was his seventh game with multiple helpers over his last 12 outings. In that span, he has three goals and 18 assists, including five assists over his last five contests following his return from a facial injury. The 28-year-old is up to 57 points, 137 shots on net and a plus-15 rating over 64 appearances. Even with some time missed in 2024-25, he should be able to exceed the 60-point mark for the fourth year in a row.

Stars' Roope Hintz: Reaches 30-assist mark
Hintz logged two assists, two shots on goal and two hits in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Ducks.
Hintz helped out on Wyatt Johnston's power-play tally to open the scoring and Mikael Granlund's overtime game-winner to close it out. With three assists over two contests since returning from a face injury, Hintz has picked up right where he left off. The 28-year-old center is up to 25 goals, 30 helpers, 134 shots on net and a plus-15 rating over 61 outings. The Finn has reached the 30-assist mark for the fourth year in a row, and a strong scoring finish could help him do the same thing in goals.

Stars' Roope Hintz: Tallies helper in return
Hintz dished out an assist in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Avalanche.
Hintz's return from a face injury was highlighted by an assist on linemate Jason Robertson's goal to open the scoring Sunday. With the goal, Hintz is up to 28 assists, 53 points and 132 shots on net in 60 appearances this season. It's an encouraging sign to see Hintz slot back onto Dallas' top line and produce after his two-game absence. He should likely contend to finish around his point total of 65 from a season ago. He has solid value in all fantasy formats while centering the Stars' top units at even strength and on the power play.

Stars' Roope Hintz: Set to miss at least one week
Hintz (face) avoided suffering a fracture but is expected to miss at least a week, Sean Shapiro of DLLS Sports reports Tuesday.
Based on his timeline, Hintz will certainly miss the next two games, though it could certainly be longer depending on his recovery. Due to Hintz being on the shelf, the first-line center role is expected to go to Wyatt Johnston. Prior to getting hurt, the 28-year-old Hintz was rolling with three goals and 13 assists, including seven power-play points, in his last seven contests.

Stars' Roope Hintz: Won't play in Vancouver
Hintz (face) will not be in the lineup Sunday against the Canucks, Mike Heika of the Stars' official site reports.
According to Heika, Hintz traveled back to Dallas after taking a puck to the face in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Oilers, and the club will reassess his injury in the coming days. After Sunday's game, the Stars won't be in action until Friday against Winnipeg, so Hintz will have some time to recover ahead of that divisional matchup.
