Blackhawks' Louis Crevier: Garners two assists
Crevier logged two assists and two hits in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Devils.
Crevier logged his second multi-point effort of the season, helping out on goals by Landon Slaggert and Sam Lafferty in the third period. The 24-year-old Crevier had been the Blackhawks' nominal seventh defenseman in recent weeks, but he was listed on the top pairing Wednesday, with Sam Rinzel slipping into a smaller role. Crevier has contributed two goals, six assists, 16 shots on net, 24 hits, 10 blocked shots, 25 PIM and a plus-6 rating over 16 appearances. If he can chip in decent offense, he'll have appeal in deep fantasy formats as long as his ice time stays up.

Blackhawks' Nick Foligno: Dishes pair of assists
Foligno logged two assists, four hits and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Devils.
Foligno had gone six games since his previous scoring contribution, which was a two-assist effort versus the Senators on Oct. 28. With the Blackhawks' young players emerging in key roles, Foligno has been confined to the bottom six more often this season. He's at six helpers, 13 shots on net, 16 PIM, 39 hits and 10 blocked shots through 14 appearances.

Blackhawks' Landon Slaggert: Enters lineup, scores goal
Slaggert scored a goal and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Devils.
Slaggert was called up earlier in the day and got into the lineup because Andre Burakovsky (illness) wasn't feeling well enough to play. The 23-year-old Slaggert delivered his first point of the season with a third-period tally. The winger has added four shots on net, nine hits, four blocked shots and two PIM over six appearances. He'll be in contention for bottom-six minutes as long as he's on the NHL roster, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him head back to AHL Rockford once the Blackhawks get healthier.

Blackhawks' Sam Lafferty: Dangles for first goal of season
Lafferty scored a goal in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Devils.
Lafferty got the puck near the blue line, made a couple of moves and slotted home a shot at 13:34 of the third period to put the Blackhawks ahead 3-2. It's a show of skill for the 30-year-old, who has spent a lot of time in the press box so far -- this was just his fifth appearance of the campaign. The goal was also his first shot on net of the year to go with four PIM, seven hits and a plus-1 rating. He may still find himself out of the lineup once Andre Burakovsky (illness), Frank Nazar (abdomen) and Jason Dickinson (shoulder) are all healthy again.

Blackhawks' Connor Bedard: Extends point streak to nine games
Bedard scored a power-play goal on two shots and went minus-2 in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Devils.
Bedard scored for the fourth straight game and extended his point streak to nine contests (eight goals, 11 assists) in the process. The 20-year-old is up to 10 goals, 26 points (nine on the power play), 54 shots on net, 14 PIM and a plus-8 rating through 17 outings this season. Bedard has elevated his game in a big way so far, and he'll likely continue to produce at an elite level to lead the charge as the Blackhawks look to stay competitive in the Central Division.

Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Falls in overtime
Knight stopped 33 of 37 shots in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Devils.
Knight failed to uphold three separate leads in the game, and defenseman Simon Nemec completed his hat trick in overtime to send Knight to the defeat. While Knight has gone 2-1-2 over his last five games, he's allowed a reasonable 15 goals in that span, which is notable because he's faced at least 30 shots in each of those outings. The 24-year-old is at a 6-3-3 record with a 2.46 GAA and a .923 save percentage over 12 appearances. Knight has been an integral part of the Blackhawks' early success this season, so expect him to continue seeing ample playing time. Chicago's next game is at home versus the high-scoring Maple Leafs on Saturday.

Blackhawks' Andre Burakovsky: Misses game due to illness
Burakovsky was unable to play Wednesday versus the Devils because of an illness, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Burakovsky's absence was previously undisclosed, but this suggests he might not have to miss too much time. The Blackhawks' next game is Saturday versus the Maple Leafs, and the winger's status for that contest has yet to be revealed.

Blackhawks' Andre Burakovsky: Not playing against Devils
Burakovsky (undisclosed) won't play Wednesday versus the Devils, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Burakovsky was deemed a game-time decision but didn't take the ice for warmups. Landon Slaggert will be in the lineup Wednesday, while Ilya Mikheyev is most likely to see a larger role in Burakovsky's absence.

Blackhawks' Landon Slaggert: Being called up Wednesday
Slaggert will be elevated to the NHL roster ahead of Wednesday's clash with the Devils, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.
Slaggert has zero points in five NHL appearances this year and hasn't performed any better in the AHL, with just one goal in three minor-league tilts. Whether the winger plays against New Jersey on Wednesday will depend on the availability of Andre Burakovsky (undisclosed), who is considered a game-time decision.

Blackhawks' Andre Burakovsky: Game-time call Wednesday
Burakovsky will be a game-time decision versus New Jersey on Wednesday with an undisclosed injury, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Burakovsky has been rolling offensively with four multi-point games in his last seven outings, racking up five goals and five assists, including a trio of power-play points. If the veteran winger can't suit up against the Devils, the Blackhawks are expected to bring Landon Slaggert up from the minors and could even deploy him in Burakovsky's spot on the first line.

Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Slated to start Wednesday
Knight is expected to start at home against New Jersey on Wednesday, per Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site.
Knight has won his last two starts, stopping 76 of 78 shots (.974 save percentage) in that span. He's having a great campaign with a 6-3-2 record, 2.33 GAA and .926 save percentage in 11 outings. New Jersey is in a three-way tie for ninth in goals per game with 3.31.

Blackhawks' Frank Nazar: Set to miss out Wednesday
Nazar (undisclosed) isn't expected to face the Devils on Wednesday but remains day-to-day, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.
Prior to getting hurt, Nazar was mired in a five-game pointless streak during which he recorded 13 shots, seven blocks and one hit. Despite the recent slump, the 21-year-old center remains on pace to top his 2024-25 numbers and set new career highs in both goals and assists. In the meantime, Ryan Greene will remain in the second-line center role for the Hawks heading into Wednesday's matchup with New Jersey.

Blackhawks' Oliver Moore: Scores first NHL goal
Moore scored a goal and put five shots on net in Sunday's 5-1 win over Detroit.
Moore's first goal at the NHL level came with 16 seconds to go in regulation. Since his call-up from AHL Rockford, he has two points in four contests with the Blackhawks. The 20-year-old has seen a nice stint on the second line due to the injuries to Jason Dickinson (shoulder) and Frank Nazar (undisclosed). It remains to be seen whether Moore will head back down to AHL Rockford when Dickinson is activated from IR, but Moore's first stint in the NHL this season could lead to more opportunities in the future.

Blackhawks' Tyler Bertuzzi: Seven points in three games
Bertuzzi tallied a power-play goal, recorded a power-play assist, put two shots on target and served four PIM in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Red Wings.
Bertuzzi chipped in on Teuvo Teravainen's power-play goal before he scored one himself early in the third period. After Sunday's goal, Bertuzzi now has nine tallies this season with six coming in his last three games. Chicago's top-line left winger has benefited from the heightened play of superstar Connor Bedard this year, and Bertuzzi could chase the 30-goal mark for the first time since the 2021-22 campaign. The 30-year-old forward is a solid fantasy streaming option until he cools off, but it's smart to hold onto Bertuzzi in deeper leagues due to the gains Chicago has made on offense recently.

Blackhawks' Andre Burakovsky: Grabs two points Sunday
Burakovsky scored a goal, dished an assist, put four shots on net and blocked three shots in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Red Wings.
Burakovsky assisted on a second-period power-play goal by Teuvo Teravainen before he found the back of an empty net with 3:23 left in the contest. Overall, the 30-year-old Burakovsky has seven goals, seven assists and 25 shots on goal across 15 contests this year. He is well above the pace needed to surpass his 37-point campaign across 79 games with the Kraken last season. With 10 points in his last seven games and sizable ice time both at even strength and a man advantage, Burakovsky is a strong waiver wire target in most fantasy formats.

Blackhawks' Artyom Levshunov: Dishes two power-play helpers
Levshunov recorded two power-play assists, blocked two shots and had two hits in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Red Wings.
Levshunov recorded the second multi-point game of his young career Sunday, helping out on power-play goals scored by Connor Bedard and Tyler Bertuzzi. Overall, the 20-year-old Levshunov has nine assists, 12 shots on goal, 16 hits and 11 blocks across 15 games this season. The No. 2 overall selection from the 2024 NHL Entry Draft is beginning to carve out a role on Chicago's blue line with his ice time trending upward over the last four games. Seven of his nine helpers have come in his last seven outings, which should help him maintain a top-four role. Levshunov is one of the top fantasy stashes in all formats and has the chance to be the top offensive contributor on Chicago's blue line this season.

Blackhawks' Connor Bedard: Point streak hits eight games
Bedard scored a power-play goal, dished out two assists and had two shots on net in Sunday's 5-1 win over Detroit.
Bedard's hot start continued Sunday with his fourth game of the season posting three or more points. He scored on a power-play inside the first minute of the game before dishing out two primary assists in the third period, one of which was also on the power play. Overall, the 20-year-old superstar has nine goals, 16 assists and 52 shots on goal across 16 games this year. During his eight-game point streak, Bedard has 18 of his 25 points. He is on pace to smash his career high of 67 points that he set in his 82-game sophomore season. Chicago's young phenom has entered the upper echelon of fantasy hockey with his frequent offensive contributions to begin the year.

Blackhawks' Teuvo Teravainen: Tallies two power-play points
Teravainen scored a goal and added an assist, both on the power play, in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Red Wings.
Teravainen chipped in on Connor Bedard's goal in the first minute of the contest before scoring one of his own early in the second period. The 31-year-old Teravainen now has three goals, eight assists and 17 shots on goal through 16 games this season. His performance Sunday ended a four-game point drought and marked his first assist since Oct. 23. While there are likely more consistent options available on the waiver wire, his most recent performance is a sign of good things to come if he can post a similar pace to the 58 points he had in 82 games in his first full season with the Blackhawks in 2024-25.
