Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Extends scoring streak
Verhaeghe scored a goal and took three shots on goal in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Islanders.
It wouldn't be a stretch to say that Verhaeghe has been one of the best players for the Panthers this season, and right now he's probably their hottest forward -- even ahead of the ultra-consistent Sam Reinhart. Verhaeghe has scored in three games in a row and is riding a six-game point streak, tallying 11 points (six goals, five assists) over that stretch.

Panthers' Sam Reinhart: One of each in win
Reinhart had a goal and an assist in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Islanders.
Reinhart continues to produce at an elite level for the Panthers and has cracked the scoresheet in all but one of his last five games. Furthermore, he's either scored or assisted in 12 of his last 15 appearances, tallying 20 points (nine goals, 11 helpers), 35 shots, nine hits and 11 blocked shots over that span.

Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Excellent in win Sunday
Tarasov stopped 20 of 21 shots in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Islanders.
Tarasov was beaten once in the second period, but that would be all the offense he'd allow against the Isles en route to his third win of the season. The 26-year-old endured a slow start to the season but has turned things around of late, posting a save percentage of .900 or higher in five of his previous six appearances.

Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Starting Sunday
Tarasov will get the start Sunday against the Islanders, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.
It will be a rare start for Tarasov, who has appeared in just eight games this season while serving as the backup to Sergei Bobrovsky. The 26-year-old Tarasov has solid numbers, sporting a 2-4-1 record with a 2.67 GAA and a .907 save percentage. With his team on the second of a back-to-back, he'll lead the charge against the Islanders, who have won three straight games.

Panthers' Eetu Luostarinen: Secures assist in return
Luostarinen notched an assist in Saturday's 7-6 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.
Luostarinen returned to the lineup after an eight-game absence stemming from burns on his lower body sustained in a barbecuing accident. He saw 18:03 of ice time and played on the top line. Luostarinen have some fantasy appeal as a power forward if he stays in that spot. For the season, he's earned three goals, 11 points, 33 shots on net, 43 hits, 18 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over 19 appearances. Due to time already missed, he'll finish this regular season with his lowest games-played total since the abbreviated 2020-21 campaign.

Panthers' Evan Rodrigues: Scores in Saturday's win
Rodrigues scored a goal on four shots and went minus-2 in Saturday's 7-6 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.
Rodrigues tied the game at 1-1 at 9:47 of the first period. The rest of the contest was much more active, but the Panthers got by on the strength of their top players, while Rodrigues was utilized on the third line in this game. The 32-year-old forward has three goals and a helper over his last six outings, and he's up to eight goals, 14 points, 59 shots, 30 hits and a minus-2 rating through 27 appearances on the year.

Panthers' Anton Lundell: Buries goal Saturday
Lundell scored a goal on five shots, added four PIM and notched two hits in Saturday's 7-6 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.
Lundell snapped a five-game goal drought with the effort. The 24-year-old's two penalties in the contest weren't great -- the Blue Jackets opened the scoring because of the first one -- but Lundell atoned for his mistakes with the game-tying goal at 14:18 of the third period after serving the second one. The center is up to seven goals, 21 points, 59 shots on net, 31 hits, 20 blocked shots, 14 PIM and a minus-7 rating across 27 appearances. Lundell will continue to see plenty of ice time in a top-line role.

Panthers' Seth Jones: Earns two points Saturday
Jones scored a power-play goal on five shots, added an assist, logged two hits and went plus-3 in Saturday's 7-6 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.
Jones ended his four-game point drought with the effort. The 31-year-old's pair of points came as part of the Panthers' three-goal rally over a span of five minutes in the second period. The defenseman is up to four goals, 11 helpers, 50 shots on net, 28 hits, 31 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 27 appearances. Jones continues to see significant usage in the top four and on the first power-play unit.

Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Lights lamp twice Saturday
Verhaeghe scored two goals, one on the power play, and added an even-strength assist in Saturday's 7-6 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.
Both tallies came in the second period as the Panthers launched an initial rally from an early 4-1 deficit. It's the first multi-goal performance of the season for Verhaeghe, and he extended his point streak to five games in the process -- a stretch in which he's erupted for five goals and 10 points.

Panthers' Brad Marchand: Four-point effort against Jackets
Marchand scored a goal and added three assists, one on the power play, in Saturday's 7-6 overtime win over Columbus.
After collecting two helpers in the second period to help the Panthers erase a 4-1 deficit, Marchand scored himself to help Florida rally again after falling behind 6-4. The 37-year-old winger then set up Sam Bennett for the OT winner with just four seconds left in the extra frame. The four points were a season high for Marchand, and he's up to 16 goals and 31 points in 26 contests overall, putting him on pace to challenge his career highs of 39 goals from 2016-17 and 100 points from 2018-19, both of which came with the Bruins.

Panthers' Sam Bennett: Four points including OT winner
Bennett scored the game-winning goal in overtime and added three assists, two on the power play, in Saturday's 7-6 victory over the Blue Jackets.
The four points were a season high for Bennett, as the 29-year-old winger continues to put a slow start to the season behind him. Over the last nine games, Bennett has racked up four goals and 12 points -- a massive turnaround after he managed only three goals and five points in the first 18 contests of 2025-26.

Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Hangs on for OT win
Bobrovsky stopped 25 shots in Saturday's 7-6 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.
The Panthers fell behind 4-1 midway through the second period and 6-4 early in the third, but they came back each time, and Bobrovsky made five big stops in OT before Sam Bennett found the winner with just four seconds left in the extra frame. It was Bobrovsky's first win in five outings, snapping a 0-3-1 stretch, but it was also the fourth time this season that he has given up five or more goals. His 2.98 GAA and .881 save percentage through 20 appearances are well below the 37-year-old netminder's usual standards.

The 23-year-old is in his second full professional season and has made some gains with 13 points through 18 outings for the Checkers this year. He had just 28 points in 60 regular-season appearances during 2024-25, followed by six points in 18 playoff contests. He's on the last year of his entry-level contract with the Panthers.

He's now earned three goals and four assists over his last four appearances, giving him five goals, 17 points, 62 shots on net, 24 hits and a minus-3 rating in 25 outings overall.
