  • Kings' Pheonix Copley: Inks one-year deal

Copley signed a one-year, $775,000 contract with the Kings on Monday.

Copley spent most of the 2024-25 regular season with AHL Ontario, posting a 24-17-1 record with a 2.49 GAA and a .904 save percentage across 42 appearances. With David Rittich eligible for unrestricted free agency in July, Copley could compete for the Kings' backup role behind Darcy Kuemper at training camp ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.

  • Kings' Martin Chromiak: Inks one-year contract

Chromiak signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Kings on Tuesday.

Chromiak produced 18 goals and 39 points in 69 regular-season appearances with AHL Ontario in 2024-25. The 22-year-old doesn't have any NHL experience yet, and he is likely to spend most of the 2025-26 campaign in the minors.

  • Kings' Kirill Kirsanov: Signs ELC

Kirsanov signed his two-year, entry-level contract, the team announced Sunday.

Kirsanov, a third-round choice of the Kings in 2021, spent much of the last five seasons playing in Russia in the KHL, VHL and MHL. This past season, the big blueliner posted seven points in 34 games with Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod. The 22-year-old also has international experience, representing Russia at the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championships.

  • Kings' Martin Chromiak: Joins Team Slovakia

Chromiak will represent Team Slovakia in the 2025 IIHF World Championship, AHL Ontario announced Wednesday.

Chromiak had 18 goals and 39 points across 69 regular-season appearances with Ontario in 2024-25. He's in Los Angeles' system after being selected with the No. 128 overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft. This is a good opportunity for the 22-year-old Chromiak to test himself against NHL talent, which might provide him with some valuable lessons going into the summer.

  • Kings' Tanner Jeannot: Recovering from groin injury

Jeannot missed the final 12 games of the regular season and all six of the team's playoff outings due to a groin injury, according to Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site on Monday.

Jeannot might have been an option to return to the lineup had the Kings advanced to the second round. Following the team's elimination from postseason play, he should be ready for the beginning of the 2025-26 campaign. The 27-year-old forward is eligible for unrestricted free agency in July. Jeannot accounted for seven goals, 13 points, 56 shots on net, 211 hits and 89 PIM across 67 regular-season appearances in 2024-25.

  • Kings' Samuel Helenius: Collects first playoff point

Helenius notched an assist and two hits in Thursday's 6-4 loss to the Oilers in Game 6.

The helper was Helenius' first career playoff point. He was in the lineup for all six playoff contests but averaged just 3:57 of ice time per game in a fourth-line role. The physical forward had 14 hits to go with one shot on goal and two blocked shots this postseason. He also had seven points, 29 shots, 150 hits and 25 PIM over 50 regular-season outings. Helenius will compete for a steadier role in 2025-26, though it wouldn't be surprising if he spends some time at AHL Ontario next year.
