Shesterkin is undefeated in regulation over his last four outings, going 2-0-2 with 12 goals allowed on 119 shots. Despite the Rangers being a long shot to make the postseason, the 30-year-old backstop figures to continue seeing the bulk of the workload for New York ahead of Jonathan Quick.

Rangers' Tye Kartye: First point with new team
Kartye notched an assist and two hits in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Devils.
This was Kartye's first point in four games since the Rangers claimed him off waivers from the Kraken. The 24-year-old has gotten a chance to play regularly in the Rangers' bottom six, an opportunity he wasn't getting in Seattle. He has nine points, 31 shots on net, 112 hits, 25 blocked shots, 21 PIM and a minus-8 rating over 44 appearances this season.

Rangers' Noah Laba: Adds assist in loss
Laba logged an assist in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Devils.

For the season, the veteran defenseman is at five goals, 10 points, 56 shots on net, 87 hits, 77 blocked shots, 28 PIM and a plus-2 rating in 55 outings. Rangers' Vladislav Gavrikov: Extends streak with goal
Gavrikov scored a goal and added two PIM in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Devils.
Gavrikov has scored in three straight games and has a point in each of his last four contests. The 30-year-old defenseman has doubled his previous career high in goals with 12 this season. Gavrikov's up to 25 points, 93 shots on net, 87 blocked shots, 34 PIM and a minus-15 rating over 62 appearances. He's shooting 12.9 percent, so the offense could drop at any time, but Gavrikov remains a decent depth option for fantasy blue lines.

Cuylle scored a goal on two shots, added two PIM and doled out three hits in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Devils.

The 24-year-old winger is up to 16 goals, 32 points, 122 shots on net, 216 hits, 60 blocked shots, 41 PIM and a minus-12 rating over 62 appearances. Cuylle should be a lock for top-six minutes the rest of the way, and while the Rangers' offense isn't great, the Ontario native's physical play boosts his fantasy value.

Rangers' Jonathan Quick: Burned by Devils
Quick stopped 29 of 34 shots in Saturday's 6-3 loss to New Jersey, with the Devils' final goal getting scored into an empty net.
New York actually grabbed a 2-1 lead midway through the first period, but from that point on, the ice was tilted against the visitors -- the Devils out-shot the Rangers 29-12 over the final two frames. Quick hasn't won a game since Jan. 26, going 0-4-0 in his last four starts with a 3.33 GAA and .900 save percentage. Fix-Wolansky has four goals and two assists over his last two games. The 26-year-old winger is up to 23 goals and 18 assists through 55 appearances this season. He continues to be a reliable AHL forward, but the Rangers haven't given him a chance to prove himself at the NHL level.

Terrance had gone 16 games without a point prior to Saturday. He's done nearly nothing in his first AHL campaign, earning five goals, three assists and a minus-10 rating over 55 appearances. The 20-year-old center wasn't much of a scorer in the junior ranks either, and it could take a few years for him to develop enough for an NHL look.

Rangers' Vincent Trocheck: Back in the lineup
Trocheck (roster management) will return to the lineup in New Jersey on Saturday, per Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic.
Trocheck sat out Thursday's game against the Maple Leafs because the Rangers were looking to deal him at the trade deadline and did not want to risk an injury. The trade talks were unfruitful, and Trocheck remains on the roster. He is expected to center Will Cuylle and Taylor Raddysh on the second line, as well as seeing first power-play time. Trocheck has 12 goals, 27 assists and 139 hits over 46 contests this season.
